Grapevine Canyon

Grapevine Canyon petroglyph site is normally accessible by passenger car.

Grapevine Canyon petroglyph site is accessed off of HWY 163.  About 13 miles east of HWY 95 or 6 miles west of Laughlin, Nevada, is the turn for Christmas Tree Pass.  Turn north, drive about 2 miles and you will see the sign for the parking area.  Once in the parking area it is approximately a 1/4 mile walk to the site.

At the Christmas Tree Pass sign turn north onto the dirt road.

As soon as you turn onto Christmas Tree Pass Road you will see a sign for "Grapevine Canyon Parking Area"

This is the parking area.

Looking toward the canyon entrance (the arrow).  The majority of the petroglyphs are on both side of the canyon at or near the entrance.

Caution:  Christmas Tree Pass Road - depending on your direction of travel - starts at HWY 163 near Laughlin, Nevada and ends up 15 miles later at HWY 95.  The dirt road between HWY 163 and the petroglyph site is in good condition, but after that there are some very rough sections where you will need a high clearance vehicle.
